Overview
Our juice cleanse and renew retreat treats you to juices and a morning green protein smoothie that are all organic and vegan, with a low glycemic load. This gentle approach is designed to provide a balance of nutrients to support your internal organs in their cleansing functions and replenish and stabilize your energy stores. Your experience is augmented by body work, guided meditation and mindfulness practice, and experiential processes that all help release emotional and muscular stress and their toxic effects on the body. The small group format combined with individual attention can provide you with the encouragement and structure to get started achieving your goals, to work through emotional and practical challenges that derail you, and to design a doable daily practice that fits for you and supports your vitality and well-being. Thursday Arrival The day of your arrival we will have a juice awaiting you. Time to settle in and enjoy the property, schedule a massage or Reiki treatment, or simply relax. After dinner (juice!) we'll gather in a circle to fully arrive, introduce ourselves, create a safe space that honors our intentions and body, and share our individual goals. Morning Routine Wake up the body with a warm water, lemon and ginger drink. Gentle exercise and stretching with yoga and guided breath work helps the body oxygenate, release stress, and open. Breakfast is a juice! Juice is served every 2 hours. Herbal detoxifying tea is always available. Friday Offerings Late morning/early afternoon: Learn and practice the mindfulness art of a medicine walk. This way of walking with your experience of yourself and the natural world often brings insights and creates a greater sense of wholeness. Late afternoon: Through an experiential process with inner work and collage, focus on releasing outworn beliefs that interfere with your ability to care for your body and well-being, incorporating change at a deeper level. Evening: A time to share reflections, followed by questions and answers. Saturday Offerings Late morning/early afternoon: Working with dreams and dream images exploring the wisdom and guidance of you inner self as it shows up in your dreams. . Late afternoon: A guided meditation and prompted free writing process that will helps you listen to your body, deepening your relationship with the wisdom it carries about how to care for yourself. Evening: An experiential process gives you access to an inner state of being and experience of yourself that can help you make healthy choices when you would rather not. Sunday Offering Late morning: Focus is on identifying practical ways to maintain and nurture in your life and yourself what you have gained from your time in retreat. Our time together culminates with a ritual to honor the new sense of yourself and your body. You leave with a juice for the road and a CD that lets you take home and practice the guided meditations offered during the retreat. |
