About the word soul: Soul to us means our inner life, the part of us that living in and through our body relates to the world around us with hopes, fears, longings, joys, and sorrows. It is a part of us that we are not always aware of. Through our senses it takes in the world around us, is affected by it and gives meaning to it, keeping within us traces of experiences we have forgotten.
