Mountain Solo
Come Home to Your Self
Find new inner resources, cultivate creativity, and unblock the flow of inspiration at a remote, meticulously-appointed mountain retreat tucked into a wooded canyon halfway between Yosemite and Sequoia-Kings Canyon national parks.
Whether you’re an artist, author, professional, someone who cares for a family, or are moving into a new stage of life, our mountain solos help you draw creative inspiration and guidance from within. We all need time to reconnect with our own roots and the wellspring of our vitality—those spaces deep within us that we can only find when we leave the tasks of our everyday lives behind, at least for a while. Based on your needs and intention, your personal retreat can include meditation, yoga, medicine walks in the woods, and therapeutic massage or Reiki treatments. Expressive arts (from prompted writing to collage and mask making), authentic movement and dream work help you touch into a deeper place in yourself and to support the conscious intention of your retreat. How long you stay is up to you. Most mountain solos run at least three or four days. It takes time, we find, to decompress, to separate from the cares of our everyday lives. |
